Apr 15, 2009 · I have Virgin 20 meg and my connection speed generally is pretty good.. around the 16 meg mark. My problem at the moment is I lose connection for a fraction of a second all the time. Now when surfing the internet on my laptop this isn't too bad as it sorts the problem out straight away. BUT.. My Dad Uses a VPN Connection at Home to work on his company laptop etc. However over the recent weeks or so, he is having problems with this dropping out. Our Set up is as follows, Netgear Router, 10mb Virgin BB with 2 connections connecting to my ipod/laptop. We did ring Virgin but unfortunately with no confirmation of what the problem was.
