I have the same issue, I'm connected to the Arris Xb6 and I have 2 Google nest wifis in the house connected so the range is not an issue, yet the signal keeps dropping a few times everyday, I checked with Rogers in Canada about what could be an issue and they came and checked the cables all the way to the house, and the internet nodes.
